For Sale 1972 Baja Bronco Project

Rare 72 with Stroppe-PS and AT

Here's a tough one to find: an original unmodified, 72 Baja Bronco. This is an early model, but has the Stroppe installed power steering and automatic transmission. These early models have more hands-on treatment from Stroppe and Associates with makes them stand alone as some of the most desireable Baja Broncos. This photo shows it has all the Baja parts intact, except the wheels. The current owner decided to restore it but due to other prioritys has to sell at this time. Truck is currently in Los Angeles and for sale as a completed chassis and painted body needing assembly of the interior, electric, and installation of motor and transmission. This is a rare opportunity at a Baja that has the expensive parts done - all it needs is your assembly time and attention to detail to be one of the best restored Baja Broncos.

This truck was disassembled and stripped for painting. Right now, this is how the body sits, painted and ready for reassembly.

The rear wheel tubs and all the tub sheetmetal is original to this truck. From the pre-teardown picture, you can see this was a complete and solid Baja Bronco to start with.

The complete understide of the original, clean body has been painted Poppy Red. Note the original trimmed fenderwell on the drivers side clearanced for Stroppe PS shaft.

The chassis has been stripped, POR-15'd and painted. It also has new shocks, springs and hardware, and 4-wheel disc brakes. New bushings throughout. Chassis is currenlty asembled.

This is a rare opportunity at an early Baja with Stroppe-installed Saginaw Power Steering and the S-T-R-O-P-P-E lettered transmission adapter. The truck has a great start of a restoration and now only needs your careful assembly and detailing to be done.
